OSAKA… we made it

After 7 days in the blazing heat and relentless rain, we have successfully reached the city of Osaka. Yesterday was by far the most challenging of the entire tour, 65 miles in the mountains of Nara then a rain storm all the way into Osaka… All in all it was a painful but rewarding experience.

We were greeted at the finish line in triangle park with campaign from our friend Mayz and Andrew, a perfect way to end the tour. Now at long last, we get to relax and enjoy the environment around us. Tonight we get a celebration dinner, alleycat race, and VIP party. Perfect. More updates to come.

150 miles in

We made it out of Tokyo, thanks to the help from the good people at wbase and the homie Rip Zinger. Thanks guys. Three days and 150 miles later, we are here in Omaezaki, in the Japanese countryside. As we ride further, we’re are witnessing the most amazing places and people; such a heavy contrast to Tokyo. Our new friend Wada from Tokyo escorted us the first two days. Without his navigation and riding skills, I’m not sure we could’ve made it this far. Thanks Wada!

Everyday feels twice as long as a normal day as we snake through the blazing heat and tropical rain only to set up camp on the beach and maybe sleep a few hours before we get up and do it again. I think I speak for everyone when I say this is one of the most unique and amazing experiences we’ve ever had.

Internet access is rare on the road but we’ll try and update as much as possible.

Ready. Set…..

After a couple of strenuous weeks shooting in NY, LA, SF, and Hawaii, we have successfully shot all the pre-trip interviews and riding footage. Special thanks to the motorcycle homies Somai and my cousin Russ who helped us get the shots we needed.

So now, all we gotta do is fly to Japan and ride. Still trying to organize all the last minute details… Someone once said, “the best projects come good ideas with not enough time…” that’s how I’m feeling now…

Next stop, Tokyo.

The New Ish…

The PAST: New York is done…

That’s it, we’re out. John, Noah, and I are finished shooting in NY and have returned to our respective homes. NY was dope, memorable for sure. Thanks Drew Dog for putting us up, we owe you many. Props to all our New York homies, CJ, Mat, Rebel, Michelle, Sam, Halina, Mike, Caroline, V, Queen, Carlo and all the rest. Damon came for a vacation too so we got some good training rides in as well.
