Tokyo To Osaka will be screening as part of the Bicycle Film Festival 2010 Urban Shorts Program.

The screening will be SATURDAY JULY 17 at the Cedar Cultural Center 416 Cedar Ave. South

The premiere T2O at the Bicycle Film Festival 2010 was a blast!

Rider/Director Nic Hill and riders Noah Tsutsui, and CJ Dunn made it out to represent the film and enjoy the BFF festivities with some New York friends. You can check out more photos here.

To go along with that trailer we just released, here are some photos I took during our 300+ mile trek!

There were many photographers among the 12 of us, and along with this being my first bicycle tour, it was also my first time doing travel photography. Here’s a list of a few of my most memorable moments: eating as many different flavored rice balls as possible, drinking kirin milk tea every day, intense karaoke sessions, being warmed by my sweat when the sky was raining down on us, having the opportunity to photograph it all, and of course, riding over 300 miles with the crew and making it to Osaka!

Rolled out with Ziadie and Irving yesterday for one of the gnarliest rides I’ve ever done in LA. We started it off with a run through Pacific Palisades all the way out to PCH. Headed south from there past LAX to Manhattan Beach. We turned back north and cut through Baldwin Hills up La Brea and kept going all the way up. Up to Griffith Observatory and back down east into Silverlake then cut back across town to get to Westwood. Overall we clocked 2172 feet of vertical climb over 70 miles. All fixed. All city.

Sunset and PCH. Looks a lot nicer in the daytime.

Irving was working on a stop motion video of the whole trip…until the tripod failed bombing out of Pali. :(

Held our quarterly 10th week drag races last night. Good times were had by all and no one got hurt. Very successful night thanks for coming out everyone! Tom caught up with me as I was rollin out of the lab and came through to say his goodbyes to the Giro.

Rolled out to the “Collegiate Fixie Fever” race hosted by the UCSB cycling team at Encino Velodrome today. Nic came through to shoot some footage and I faired pretty well in the Men’s C/D category for having zero experience. Let’s just say I didn’t get DFL so that’s all that matters. Fun first day at the track…pushing 90 gear inches all day is no joke!
